The Black Friday

November 28, 2007 - 8:18 am | Uncategorized

This year I didn’t get up at 2:00 am to line up. I woke up at 9 and strolled along to the compusa. I didn’t get killer deals but got what I needed. I was happy.

We went to downtown San Francisco as well. As the girls were shopping, I was just observing the mass of people, the signs people were carrying, the dancers, the tourist, etc. It has been awhile since I went downtown so it was nice that I had the camera with me.

College Football

November 23, 2007 - 12:59 am | Uncategorized

Happy Thanksgiving y’all! It’s been awhile since I last posted so I’m playing catch up. I went to the UCLA football game 2 weeks ago with my brother in-law. He and his friends are die hard fans. The crowd was full of energy. I found myself going nuts and cheering even though I wasn’t a fan. I suppose it rubs off. This was a break from family portraits and weddings. A few snaps from the game.

1. This is sweater guy. I hear he wears this sweater no matter what.

2. What a nice return.

3. In the pocket.

4. ASU with a nice run.

5. I was playing around with some panorama stuff. Pretty neat.

Family Portraits

November 6, 2007 - 12:12 pm | Portraits

What a busy month filled with family portraits, a baby dedication and a wedding. Though somewhat exhausting, I have nothing to complain about.
One of the portrait sessions I shot was with the Azadi family. This family is one of the coolest and down-to-earth families anyone will ever meet. It was so much fun getting to know the kids; the three of them have such different personalities from the other. It is evident how much joy they bring to their parents. The weather couldn’t have been any better. What a beautiful Sunday for family portraits. Go Bay Area!

Portrait of an activist and inventor

October 10, 2007 - 10:39 pm | Portraits

My friend Rayfil has been in newspapers, youtube, websites, and even on national television. He was a contestant on ABC’s American Inventor. His product, the Sober Key, aimed at reducing drunk driving. His latest project can be found at www.leaddr.com. Lead Dr.com is a free resource website to help educate parents about lead poisoning. It’s especially helpful because of the recent news concerning lead and toys. Ray needed head shots for his press release. I was more than willing to help him out.
