The beauty of simplicity. This wedding was small, intimate, fun, and simple. Charles and Michelle are a fantastic couple. I had a great time photographing their wedding. Their friends and family were awesome, really down to earth people… Congrats you guys!! Enjoy a few photos. Slide show is here.

Vegas!

Viva Las Vegas! It’s been over 10 years since I’ve been to Sin City. The thing I remember most from my last trip was the horrible desert heat. This time around, it was 80 degrees on the first day we got there and then 60 degrees on the next day! Odd weather. I felt like I was in San Francisco!

We stayed at the Aladdin Hotel. The room was really nice and big. We had a partial view of the Bellagio fountains.

WPPI was huge, a little overwhelming but I paced myself. There were a ton of vendors ranging from album companies, labs, equipment companies, etc.. Aside from these vendors, there were great photographers presentating all over the trade show. I saw a few of the “Top Ten Wedding Photographers in the World” including Joe Buissink, Dennis Reggie, Kevin Kubota, Brook and Alisha Todd and Bambi Cantrell. A few other greats include, Mike Colon, Marcus Bell, Gene Higa, David Jay, and more.

Monday evening we had a shoot. A group of us photographers strolled along the strip for a few hours of casual shooting. The models were very good looking. See for yourself!

All in all, it was a great trip for us. We got a chance to learn and experience good vibes from great photographers. Oh I forgot to mention – we went to see a timeshare presentation and got a free dinner buffet with a show. Well worth it. We had 3 hours to kill when we first got there and said why not. Would I do it again? Probably not‚Ķ Next time I’m going to hit the tables. Slot machines are a total gamble.
