Annette and I were able to attend Roy and Celia’s wedding as guests. It’s good to have a break and be a guest. There could not have been a better day for a wedding at the Shakespeare Garden. The weather was just right. The celebration continued at Canton Restaurant in San Francisco.
You know… Roy and I go way back. We actually met in high school and ended up being college roommates at San Jose State. Good times. I’m happy for Roy and Celia. I wish them the best.
Their wedding photographer was Jon Chen from Living Photography.

Our family took a little super small mini vacation a few weeks back. When we checked into the hotel, the front desk mentioned you’ll be facing Great America and will be able to see the fireworks show. Totally didn’t know about it and was glad I had the good old camera with me. Here are a few from the hotel room.

Amber and Amel were married at St. Cecilia Church in San Francisco. I’ve always driven by this church but never had the chance to see the inside. It’s a beautiful church. I really enjoyed the architecture and design.
Amber and Amel were fun to work with. I was able to capture a lot of playful moments… especially during the portrait sessions which were at Golden Gate Park and Alamo Square.
The reception was held at Canton Restaurant in San Francisco. Before the big banquet, they had a tea ceremony. The bride and groom served tea to their families and in return they would receive gifts. This was also the time where family members and loved ones gave advice, shared personal experiences, and gave wisdom to the couple. Sometimes that has equal or greater value than the gifts. I really enjoyed the moment when Amel’s father shared to the bride and groom. It was such a genuine moment. I’m glad I was there to witness it. Here are a few snaps from the day. Thanks to Jennifer Quen for assisting me on this wedding!!

Back in May, we went to the Lincoln Brewster Concert at CPC. I’ve always enjoyed his music, his coolness, his hair, his lyrics, his songs, and his mad guitar skills. It was my first time seeing him live and it was a treat. Lincoln is very down to earth… plays his guitar with passion, sings with passion, lives life with passion, loves his wife and kids with passion… He connects with his music. He connects with his guitar.
You know, Lincoln shared that his ex step brothers are on that show The Deadliest Catch.
