I had the opportunity to shoot this awesome Half Moon Bay wedding.  Nearly everytime I go to Half Moon Bay, it is complete covered with fog.  The two times that I went for a wedding was absolutely amazing.  This wedding was held on the beach right by Sam’s Chowder House.  I haven’t tried the restaurant but the Chowder Mobile is delicious! Following the ceremony, all the guests retreated to the Oceano Hotel for a fabulous outdoor reception.  The hotel sits on a small street with little shops overlooking the harbor.  It’s such a great venue.  I’d probably head back there one day for a little get away myself!

This was a pretty awesome wedding.  Why?  Because it took place at Valley Presbyterian Church in Portola Valley.  My wife and I got married there years ago.  It was so great to go back and be on the other side… photographing.  The church still looks great.  The redwood tree grove was gorgeous as you can tell through the images.  The reception took place at Mings in Palo Alto.  Last but not least, the grooms cake was just… amazing.  Just look at the details.  The rims.  Pretty spot on.  I had a lot of fun shooting this wedding with Vincent Au Photography.
